TAGME Update
November 15th, 2007
Dear ARCOS Members:
The TAGME Task Force for Orthopaedic Surgery is pleased to inform you that certification for orthopaedic surgery residency coordinators is now available. Beginning November 16, 2006, application material for certification will be posted on the ARCOS website (www.arcosonline.org). The deadline for application submission is December 20, 2006.
Once the application process is complete, the Work Effort portion of the assessment will be sent to you via e-mail. The Work Effort can be downloaded to your computer and completed in the comfort of your own surroundings. Deadline for the return of the Work Effort is March 22, 2007.
The Monitored Assessment portion of the certification process will be administered on February 14, 2007 in San Diego, California. The Monitored Assessment has a time limit of five hours and information regarding the location, start time, etc. will be available as the date draws nearer.
The TAGME Task Force is excited that the opportunity to become a certified residency program coordinator is now a reality. Thank you for supporting this endeavor and good luck as you pursue certification!
